National Harbor is located just south of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge along the Capital Beltway in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and is just 10 minutes from downtown Washington, D.C. The National Children’s Museum is scheduled to open at the National Harbor in 2013. Until then, families can visit the Launch Zone, a 2,700 square foot space where children can explore ideas for the new museum.

There are plenty of great places to eat at the National Harbor. No matter what you are in the mood for, you can take your pick from over 20 restaurants.

The National Harbor Marina offers boat rentals, fishing tours, charters, and sightseeing cruises. A water taxi service is available, connecting the waterfront of the National Harbor and Old Town Alexandria. You can also use the water taxi to travel to Nationals Park and take in a ball game.
